On Brody's Birthday, Thursday the 18th, we went out to breakfast, then to Sam's to buy cookies and cupcakes, then to the NICU. We wanted to celebrate with our NICU family. They all loved seeing Brody and they appreciated the goodies. He had a big day.
Then the big party on Saturday. What a day!!! Brody awoke at 4am, giggling. It's like he knew it was his party day. From then until 10pm he only had about 2 hours of naps. Saying he loved everyone singing to him is an understatement. What a joy watching him smile looking around at everyone. We had an awesome day and it was wonderful celebrating with all of our family and friends. As soon as Aunt Leeta gets pictures to us I will post them on the blog. I didn't take any pics, I knew I would be like a butterfly caught in a windstorm so I asked Brent's sister, Leeta, to be our photographer. She takes excellent pictures (especially of Brody) and I can't wait to see all that she captured.

Dear Brent, Dee Dee, and Master Brody, We wanted to say that we enjoyed getting to see Brody at the Big Party on Sat. He did seem to enjoy his birthday very much and was such a trooper on such little sleep! He definately is a "People Person"! God has blessed us all to have Brody in our lives and our prayers continue for your little family to grow and prosper together for many many years to come. We love you all, Aunt Naomi and Uncle Gene
What a great day it was! It was awesome and a blessing to celebrate his special day and see the ranch that is so dear to your hearts. We were glad that we were able to share the moment with you.
Brody is so adorable! We wish we had the opportunity to see him more. I am also looking forward to seeing the pictures. I understand they are on the way!

That's awesome to hear that Brody's still doing good. He seems like a really happy kid. Praying for you two and Brody. It looks like God is still blessing your lives, that's awesome to see!
