Home Again Home Again Jiggity Jig

Alleluia, we are home. Brody is doing well. The medication that the pediatric cardiologist prescribed is working and his heart is no longer racing. I am sure we will have some more testing. As it stands right now he may have 3 different heart conditions, unrelated to being a preemine and unrelated to one another. When I get unpacked tomorrow (after some sleep :) and find all of our information I will share with you. It does appear that all of the conditions can be "outgrown". When the echo-cardiogram gets read and we see the Dr. we will have aven more answers.

I know some of you have been asking for the blog...I am sorry that I haven't given you any information. I saw so many people that asked or called about Brody followed by, "I never go on the blog anymore.", many didn't even know I hadn't been blogging. Then the comments got less and less - I truly assumed no-one was checking it except 3 people. Therefore, the way to keep me finding time to blog I need some encoragement. Even if you comment, "I was here."

Thank you for your love, support, and prayers.

I check often hoping to hear about Mr. Brody, but I know what it's like to be the mom of a preemie-time is valuable.

I check your blog regularly, but didn't want to badger you about posting since I know it is difficult when you have a little one. You should definitely keep it updated so Jason and I know what is going on when we move to Oregon. Glad you are home now and everyone is doing well.

DeeDee and Brent,

I have been following the blog, also; but I very rarely write a comment. The little guy is just adorable! We are so happy he is out of the hospital. As mothers we know your life has gotten very complicated! I would still like to read the blog when you have a spare moment to write. Take care of you (and Brent too). Our prayers are with all three of you.

As all the other posters, I, too, check the blog every day. Master Brody has touched more lives than you can possibly imagine. Many of my friends and co-workers also check the blog hoping to get a glimse of how much he has grown. I have no doubt that he will conquer this latest hurdle. My love to you all.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I also keep up with Brody's progress through the blog and of course through updates from your nanny, Kerri. I have missed the posts through the last month but remember well how busy those first months can be. Now that you are safely home again - sit down with Brody, give him a big kiss, and read him a good book. It just doesn't get any better than that! Love ya, Dawn
